The Review

Usually when I get inside a website and discover that the site name is misleading I get pretty pissed off – but I'll make an exception in the case of HD Movie Club! See, technically they don't have movies, at least not individually; what you get when you join this site are complete DVDs! Oh, yeah, and there is an ass-load of 'em!

When you log into the members’ area the first thing you'll see front-and-center is the DVD of the day. That's not a title they've plucked out of the archives; it's the one they added today, and they do it every day. Below that are preview thumbs from the next five DVDs, which are followed by the beginning of the archives.

On the left is the first place you can turn to in order to find content of a specific type. The HD Movie Club has twenty different niche and fetish-specific archives ranging from anal and Asian to fetish, gangbang and gonzo to squirting and teens. The variety within the individual collections is just as impressive!

As of the day I checked this site out they had twenty two hundred nine DVDs for your viewing pleasure. Today's DVD went into the big butt category; yesterday it was ebony. Tomorrow's title will be interracial. The individual sites vary in size but none have fewer than several dozen DVDs, and some have hundreds. None are on a specific update schedule.

One of my favorite things about HD Movie Club is that they don't get all their content from one place; instead, they draw from the products of dozens of the best studios. There are constellations of stars that populate the DVDs here, too. This really is the kind of site you can safely say “if they don't have it, nobody makes it” about!

They don't call this site “HD Movie Club” without justification, because you can download every video on every DVD in high definition files of 300-500MB or more. If that's too large for your internet connection, however, they have a smaller MPG file and an MP4 for your iPod. You'll also have two different streaming choices; all films are full length.
